As part of an MSc Humanitarianism, Aid, and Conflict at SOAS, University of London, I took an Anthropological Research Methods module. The photographs were taken as part of my final project, studying how a researcher with ASD can use photography as a means of regulating their interactions with research subjects. With camera in hand I found it easy to engage with strangers and talk to them about their dogs and their lives.
